Learn to make the most of your Classic or New Mini's potential under the guidance of one of the world's most experienced driving professionals. The Phil Wicks Ultimate Mini Driving Academy offers an opportunity for drivers of all types to test the limits of their Minis in a safe and controlled environment. Whether your driving is strictly on the street or you're involved in Mini motorsports, the Ultimate Mini Driving Academy will provide you with the skills and confidence to handle your car in both hazard situations and normal driving. Please note this is not a race driving school.

Classes are divided into skill groups, and alternate between classroom instruction and on-track driving sessions with Phil's highly qualified instructors. You can expect to get six 20-minute on-track sessions during class - an excellent value considering the low cost of tuition!

Both Classic Minis and New MINIs are welcome at the Ultimate MINI Driving Academy! As a Mini racer, stunt driver, and engineer, Phil is in a unique position to instruct drivers of the Classic Mini. His insight into the makeup and handling of the Mini will make you a safer, more skillful driver on the street or track. In fact, Phil's association with the development and driving of the original Mini Cooper has earned Phil the support of MINI USA for his Ultimate MINI Driving Academy.

The Phil Wicks Ultimate Mini Driving Academy at Blackhawk also serves as a test and tune day for racers entered in Wednesday's Ultimate Mini Challenge. You will be placed in the Expert group, which is reserved exclusively for licensed competition drivers with race-prepared cars. You can expect six or more 15-minute on-track sessions during the course of the day, and you will also get tips and advice from Phil and his instructors on how to fine-tune your driving.

The fee to join a test and tune day is $160. Phil's class on Monday, June 28, is open to any type of vehicle; Tuesday's class is open to Classic and New Minis only. You may choose either date, however class size is limited and Tuesday may fill early -- please plan accordingly!
